The Office of Palatine is supported by the IHK Zetis GmbH – the Centre for technology and innovation consulting Southwest. Zetis is the project – subsidiary of the IHK Pfalz with offices in Ludwigshafen and Kaiserslautern. Closely networked structures acting, the IHK Zetis GmbH is the central contact for small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups to all questions related to IT / Internet and innovation. The topics range consulting in the event and the innovation and patent promotion about E-business solutions to cooperation as well as personnel and education issues. The IHK Zetis GmbH is in the Project “coNNect – SME networking” IT consulting partner of the provincial government and the Federal Government Centre of excellence for electronic commerce and SIGNO innovation partner for Rhineland-Palatinate. The IT Academy Mainz Mainz IT Academy is a project and educational institution, which can look back on many years of experience in the area of eBusiness projects as well as in the qualification of IT. The Academy aims to reach a market-driven improvement of the qualification of IT professionals through project and education work. The Mainz IT Academy sees itself as a service provider and is in continuous exchange with companies, business associations, Chambers (for example the Chamber of Commerce, HWK) employment services, trade associations and other competent institutions.
Also is a coNNect the Mittelstand offensive member of the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of the economy and a founding member of the IT Academy of Rhineland-Palatinate and advises SMEs to the topics as an active partner in the nationwide network IT qualification and eBusiness. The Centre of excellence for electronic commerce of KEG Saar KEG Saar is a joint project of the Center for productivity and technology Saar E.v. (ZPT) and the Institute of information management (IWi) in the DFKI. It supports in particular small and medium-sized companies, to assess the benefits of E-business and to prepare for the use of Internet-based technologies and to implement since 1998. The comprehensive range of services is aimed at all industrial, commercial, service and craft companies in the Saarland.
In addition to the regional focus is KEG Saar e-commerce nationwide connected over the network to 27 other competence centres, which are promoted by the Federal Ministry of Economics and technology. The EC-M works since 1998 successfully because the EC-M Advisory Centre of e-commerce Middle Hesse, to promote the development of e-commerce by businesses in Central Hesse. The EC-M supported targeted small and medium-sized enterprises in the region with the introduction of modern information and communication technologies. The necessary information and knowledge often lack small businesses in trade, crafts and industry to assess the benefits of the new media for themselves. As one of 28 knots in the network of e-commerce is the EC-M direct contact person for interested companies as well as for the technology provider.
