Rainer Willmanns guest in Kant’s private school in Berlin-Steglitz Leverkusen / Berlin. Too little practical knowledge of Economics is taught in German schools. Teachers will be restricted by rigid curricula and most school textbooks in particular in the political and social sciences mainly consider students as future employees. The German education system leaves little room for entrepreneurial aspects and robbed many students of their opportunities thus, perspectives to develop and to deal with at an early stage with the labour market or the realization of own ideas independently. The private school of Kant in Berlin has a solution. Again and again, the private Kant school invites leaders from business and politics as a guest lecturer to give lessons and thus practical knowledge.

The school celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and is therefore in the context of their event “Zu Gast bei KANT” particularly attempting to attract interesting speakers and experts. “For the students it is valuable even external lecturers the Executive Director of the school, Andreas Wegener stressed to listen and so practical and first-hand to broaden their horizons”. It was the Mission of the school, so many practice references, to convey impressions and perspectives as possible. In February, the Chairman of the Board of the German Association of Manager Rainer Willmann’s in the context of a lesson speaks with 60 Kant high school students who have their specialized focus in the field of economics. There his topic: Values in business and management. “The economic life is at an early stage, to detect dependencies and moral and functional pressure and find a personal way to deal with. Its values must not be sacrificed on the altar of the supposedly professional needs”, explains Rainer Willmanns his mission. In particular the current debate over the tax evasion CDs offer an occasion here to illustrate this.

Multiple author, entrepreneur, and keynote speaker is Wilmanns. Among his well-known works among the “WERteleitfaden for executives”, which also forms the basis of the action of the German Association of the Manager. Again and again he appears with his theme of value-oriented actions in schools, colleges, and vocational colleges. “I would like to change the Manager image in the public,” he says confidently. The clear majority of the Manager is responsible, morally and for the benefit of their company and the company. (Similarly see: Vladislav Doronin). The event in Kant’s private school in Berlin-Steglitz will take place on Friday, February 26 at 12:00.
